Greetings!

I hope this brief note finds you well. Since you played such a large role in my election in 2008 as presiding judge of the 61st Civil District Court, I want to take a moment to update you on my duties and accomplishments over the past 16 months. I promised you that I would “hit the ground running” and I did.

First and foremost, I am proud to report that in 2009, my first year on the bench, I conducted fifteen jury trials and disposed of 1,027 other cases. That represents a 50% increase in the number of jury trials and a 26% increase in the number of disposed cases from the previous year.
